This year's campaign gave animation and live action their own starring roles, and brought even more nuanced sophistication to the styling and animation. To bring this new vision to life, Sarah Beth Morgan and Corey Langelotti reunited to co-direct, and, for the first time, they were aided by Clubcamping's visionary animation and character design.

This campaign was all about enhancing the sophistication of the styling while maintaining Ziply's classic high-energy sensibility. Since the scripts leaned a little darker than previous campaigns, and hinged on narratives of transformation, the designs requires more depth and cinematic tonality. This includes more cel animation, hand-drawn flourishes, gradients, texture, and detail than ever before.

As animation leads, the Clubcamping team brought incredible ideas to the table, designed engaging characters, and used their signature inimitably creative transitions using their incredible skills in cel animation.

As a campaign based on stories of transformation, the transitions Clubcamping created are key to each story. Each way that the characters move from slow to fast internet is custom to them and reinforce key aspects of the story.

"The Ziply spots are always really fun! The agency always brings out-of-the-box ideas and is excited about trying new things, so we get to be very creative. It's a really collaborative process." - Hornet Director Sarah Beth Morgan
