Exploring a Freudian inner landscape reminiscent of Dali and the bright reds of Almodovar, this music video for Bomba Estéreo takes us through a surreal reckoning with betrayal. Set among the aisles of a droll supermarket, a husband’s infidelity and the other woman’s complacency are underscored by disparate elements brought to life by our unfortunate heroine’s unconsciousness. Floating knives, unraveled ties, an assortment of shoes, and too-perfect roses transform betrayal into a vivid and dreamlike exploration.
