The Strokes

In this music video for "At the Door" by The Strokes, Hornet Director Benjy Brooke was brought on to co-produce and animation-direct a story written by Mike Burakoff. Loosely inspired by the classic 1981 anthology "Heavy Metal" and pumped full of late 70's/early 80's cel style animation, the tone is fresh, unsettling, and spookily poignant. For Benjy, it was a dream job to work alongside his friend and mentor. "Mike helped me get my start in animation 10 years ago, and being able to help him bring this vision to life was a complete dream job for me."
