Vans joined forces with the renowned design studio Morning Breath and enlisted the creative prowess of Andy Baker to amplify the launch of their groundbreaking 2019 Custom Culture campaign.

Produced in Andy's London studio over a span of two months, the animation radiates a cool, psychedelic vibe. The characters, with hairy legs, eyeballs for heads, and vinyl record bodies, exude a trippy, out-there aesthetic. Underpinning it all are layered tracks of hip-hop, reggae, and punk, mirroring the diverse subcultures and genres within the Vans universe. Anchoring this expressive showcase and illustrative brilliance is a lighthearted narrative about a skateboarding sharpie with grand dreams and an even grander imagination.
